BabyCenter recently released its annual list of top baby names. Included in the list are a handful of “power baby names” (names people believe greatly influence a child’s future) like Sophia, Jacob and Mason.
Mason is on the move—moving up 8 spots on the boys list since last year. Meanwhile, Emily is again gaining steam on the girl’s list, moving up 3 spots to take 9th place. Fear not “Twilight” fans, the vampire romance series is still influencing new parents with names like Isabella (Bella) and Jacob all nearing the top of the list.
